7 Years of Live Jazz Lounge


Live Jazz Lounge celebrates its 7th anniversary with a Jean-Luc Ponty live concert from 1972, featuring the great Philip Catherine on guitar and Nana Vasconcelos on percussion.

In its 7 years of life, Live Jazz Lounge featured 534 live jazz performances by 1043 artists. It received over 800,000 visits from 169 countries.

Live Jazz Lounge only presents material that is freely accessible and not sold commercially. A list of sources can be found HERE. Live Jazz Lounge is a totally non-profit, commercial-free endeavour, fueled solely by the love for this great music. It has received praise and gratitude from many of the featured artists.

I’ve lost count of the artists I have been introduced to via this site: particularly those from Europe.And yes; I go on to purchase stuff I would otherwise have been unaware of. Great blog.
