This is lovely to see this concert posted. This is a recording I made myself on a Sony Walkman. There is an encore of “Beneath An Evening Sky” I can send you.

Ha! After one and a half day of reflecting and browsing, I found the missing title of tune no. 4: it’s “Half Past Two”, initially recorded on Towner & Abercrombie’s “Five Years later”. Another wonderful composition of Ralph’s, that never was recorded with this band.

To me 1982 there was the best Oregon of all times, despite so many great recording in 40 years. Absolute freedom in style, color, composition. And Walcott was as strong a musical contributor as the other three, the perfect quartet.

Then it’s two of us that feel like that about Oregon!

What a gem! Only one time in my life I was lucky to see Oregon with Walcott, 1977 in Frankfurt. Hearing your recording brings the memory back. Thank you!
